Catch up

So I am officially a terrible blogger. I have slacked off lately. I blame it on my inner 16 year old self getting caught up in the Twlight series books. Let me tell you I haven't ever been addicted to a set of books like these. They are very easy to read and really good. I was hooked after the first chapter and read the first book in two days. that has never happened. anyway sorry for being so behind

We haven't been up to much but here are some random pictures. Mike just got his first line at the airlines he has been on reserve or high speeds so October will be a good month for him. He is excited to actually have a somewhat decent schedule. We are so proud of him.
These are just random pictures the first is of me and my sisters when I went down for my grandmothers funeral and the rest are of my sweet and sometimes miscievious girls look at sydney with all her toys. I clean up after that child all day long

The Shack

So I was at the airport and by myself knowing i would be standby and have layovers so I went to the bookstore at Salt Lake Airport and remembered Mary (Carli's sister)had recommended this book on her blog and let me tell you I am not a book reader, I don't get into books really but I could not put this one down and I couldn't stop tearing up reading it. It was such a great book although reading this book going down to a funeral can really bring the tears rolling. I recommend it to anyone. It's very uplifting.

If anyone has another recommendation for another good book please leave me a comment I need to start reading another book now.

My Grandmother 12/25/1919 to 9/4/2008

My Grandma died Last Thursday on the 4th. She was a very special lady in my life but lived a very good life of 89 years. She was born on Christmas Day on 1919. She had 3 children. She was so full of life and never let anything get her down. She will be deeply missed. I can't remember a childhood memory without her and not talking to her more than a week. If I or she hadn't heard from each other in more than a week we would be calling the other one wondering whats going on. I loved that lady.
- She loved to dance and went out dancing every weekend up until she was about 77 years old.
- She loved the beach and lived on the coast until Hurricane Katrina destroyed her house.
- She loved her family and friends.
- She loved to shop at antique shops and flea markets and did so every weekend up until the last week of her life.
- She outlived her daughter and son and two husbands.
- She had the biggest heart of anyone I have known she loved you deeply and would do anything for you.

TAG

I usually: wonder where the week went. The time is flying too fast after I have had kids.
I wonder: where we will end up living once Mike makes captain.
I regret: Not spending enough time with my mom and now with my girls from day to day.
I Love: my beautiful kids, My handsome husband, fall, seafood, and my friends
I care: way too much sometimes especially about the small stuff
I always: spend too much time on the computer either at work or at home. need to be spending it with the girls or outside.
I worry: about everything. mainly about something happening to Mike up in the air or something happening to the girls or me getting cancer like my mom.
I am not: organized or patient. ( I need to work on these)
I remember: nothing unless i write it down.
I believe: in goodness and kindness I think there are still plenty of good out there in this crazy world.
I dance: with my girls
I sing: in the car
I argue: when i don't get my way (i know bad)
I win: the arguement in the end.
I lose: my keys way too much
I listen: to my friends (I love being there for them)
I don't understand: alot but some are hate, cancer, and the gas prices.
I can be found: at work in the morning, home or on my way to or from the airport.
I am scared: of the dark ( I know silly)
I need: a personal trainer
I forget: to take life so less serious most days. I stress out too much about financial matters or not spending enough time with the girls or Mike's schedule that I don't just relax and enjoy the day.
I am happy: on a walk outside with the girls or curled up watching a movie with Mike.
I tag: Katie, Valerie, Christine and Laurel.

Random summer pictures

H

Just random summer pictures of the girls swimming, finger painting and just chilling. That is what our summer has consisted of this year. Its been so nice to hang out with the girls and watch them grow into little girls not babies anymore. (so sad) I don't want to get mushy but these girls are the best thing I could ever dream of in my life. They are so much fun and have such different little personalities that are so fun.

Park City and friends

We got to go up to Park City about a week ago to meet up with Tanya and Tyler and the boys. It was so good to see our good friends and enjoy how beautiful Park City really is. I love it there. Mike and I both want to end up there or around Heber Valley. Here are a few pictures of the alpine slide adventure and the olympic park.
