This whole week someone has been sick in our house. It started with Brooke then Sydney and now me. So someone has always been under the weather . Brooke today is better but I think the week has caught up with her and so a little on the whiney side. She was argueing with me about something she wanted and started to whine when Sydney looked up at her and said Book (is what she calls her) if don't stop you go bed and go night night. (translation stop whining or go to bed)
Then brooke proceded to say No Sydney you behave or I give you a spanking. She tells me that too if i tell her no. Just to set it straight we don't give her spankings but she will tell you that she will give you one if you do something she doesn't like.
Sydney then proceeded to tell brooke to be nice and went over and took her toy and pulled her hair. She can be kind of a bully at times. (Even to her bigger sister, we are working on that)
This is just a typical day sometimes between two sisters. But they did hug and makeup, now they are laughing at each other and playing with blocks so all is good.

Getting ready for Halloween and enjoying the rest of Fall

This week has been so beautiful here in Utah we couldn't have asked for better weather so me and the girls did all we could to stay outside and enjoy the rest of Fall cause they are calling for colder weather starting next week. Yesterday the girls had a pre halloween dress up for Brooke's preschool that me and some friends do for our kids. It was so fun for the girls. We also got a little pumkin carving done early in the week while Mike was home.

I love October
I just love October I love the changing of the trees and mountain out here in Utah, I love the weather, I love the first snow fall especially on Timp (mount timpinogas) and I love taking the girls to the pumkin patch every year. And of course Halloween. I am very excited about that this year with the girls. Aren't all holidays more fun now with kids.

Catch up
So I am officially a terrible blogger. I have slacked off lately. I blame it on my inner 16 year old self getting caught up in the Twlight series books. Let me tell you I haven't ever been addicted to a set of books like these. They are very easy to read and really good. I was hooked after the first chapter and read the first book in two days. that has never happened. anyway sorry for being so behind
We haven't been up to much but here are some random pictures. Mike just got his first line at the airlines he has been on reserve or high speeds so October will be a good month for him. He is excited to actually have a somewhat decent schedule. We are so proud of him.
These are just random pictures the first is of me and my sisters when I went down for my grandmothers funeral and the rest are of my sweet and sometimes miscievious girls look at sydney with all her toys. I clean up after that child all day long

The Shack
So I was at the airport and by myself knowing i would be standby and have layovers so I went to the bookstore at Salt Lake Airport and remembered Mary (Carli's sister)had recommended this book on her blog and let me tell you I am not a book reader, I don't get into books really but I could not put this one down and I couldn't stop tearing up reading it. It was such a great book although reading this book going down to a funeral can really bring the tears rolling. I recommend it to anyone. It's very uplifting.
If anyone has another recommendation for another good book please leave me a comment I need to start reading another book now.

My Grandmother 12/25/1919 to 9/4/2008
My Grandma died Last Thursday on the 4th. She was a very special lady in my life but lived a very good life of 89 years. She was born on Christmas Day on 1919. She had 3 children. She was so full of life and never let anything get her down. She will be deeply missed. I can't remember a childhood memory without her and not talking to her more than a week. If I or she hadn't heard from each other in more than a week we would be calling the other one wondering whats going on. I loved that lady.
- She loved to dance and went out dancing every weekend up until she was about 77 years old.
- She loved the beach and lived on the coast until Hurricane Katrina destroyed her house.
- She loved her family and friends.
- She loved to shop at antique shops and flea markets and did so every weekend up until the last week of her life.
- She outlived her daughter and son and two husbands.
- She had the biggest heart of anyone I have known she loved you deeply and would do anything for you.
