Summer do's

Brooke decided she wanted to cut her hair short so we took her and Mike was really worried about it but I think it is adorable (she would of went shorter but Mike said not too short) and sydney just got her's a little shorter also.

7 months

This post is like 2 weeks late but I still can't believe Kira is 7 months old.
At 7 months
She weighs 15 pds (5%)
She is crawling everywhere
Pulling herself up on anything
She loves anything she can put in her mouth especially the little puffers for babies
She still doesn't sleep(maybe cause she is still so tiny) (she is still waking up about 3 times a night.
She likes to crawl under tables and chairs and then gets mad cause she's stuck.
She loves her sister Brooke
She hates squash and applesauce
She is just so much fun (except the nights) and we are so happy to have her in our family.

Easter

We had a great Easter even with the snow which I could of done without but the girls had a blast. I just love holidays and even more now that I have children.

6 months already

On the 24th Kira turned 6 months. Is it crazy to say the time has flown and felt like forever in the same sentence. maybe I'm the only one who understand what I mean(which is usually the case :)
We went to her 6 month checkup and she weighs 14.2 pounds which puts her in the 20% percentile and she is 25.5 inches long which is the 45%. But she is in the 80 % of her head size. (big head like daddy) She is small like Brooke was. She is moving around like crazy she is almost crawling not quite there but so close any day and she will she's that close. But she does move anywhere she wants to go when she gets fed up trying to crawl by being a little inch worm (picture that 80's dance move and there you go) We are so in love with this little girl she is funny, sleeping a little better not great but better than before, she loves to get in the middle of the girls toys and play, she is definitely a mommy's girl and Brooke can make her laugh like no one else.

Tooth Fairy.

Brooke lost her first tooth today. That makes me sad in a way. I feel like she is too young to have already lost a tooth and now its hitting me she is getting too big. Two days ago she noticed that her tooth was loose and it was making her nervous so Michael explained about the tooth fairy and how she would come and visit the night you lost your tooth so that calmed her down and so today when it came out she told me that she was going to get money tonight. I hope the tooth fairy remembers her job tonight and doesn't forget. Look at that goofy smile now. I just love it... (I did tell her to smile where I could see her bottom teeth so that's not her everyday smile)

The Solution to sleep problems

So Kira had her 4 month checkup today and the doctor said he heard a heart murmor which freaked me out but he seemed ok and said he would listen again at 6 months and it's somewhat common for little ones so I will trust him for now. She has gotten taller thank goodness at her 2 month cheekup she was in the 5th percentille and now is in the 47th and 30th in weight. So growing right along.
I have been having issues with her sleep so that was one of my main concerns with this appt. I was looking for answers. At this point with Brooke and Sydney we had them on schedules and sleeping in a crib and through the night. Kira not so much. Every night is different. So I told the doctor about how she loves to be swaddled but fights her way out and then gets mad and how she wants a pacifier to go to sleep but can't keep it in her mouth and then wakes up mad that it's not there so his solution get rid of both. He said her problem is that she can't soothe herself and needs to learn how and that is what the pacifier and swaddling aren't doing. So I am so scared to get rid of things that I know works temporary but am willing to try anything for some sleep. I am even putting her down early now(8pm) (she was going down at 10pm) and tonight trying these things so wish me luck or just pray for me not to go crazy doing so.

Can it be summer already.

No new pictures. Been slacking. But wishing i could be sitting on this pier right now.

We haven't been up to very much lately. It really feels like winter. I hibernate in the winter and with a little baby I have really hunkered down. I'm starting to get cabin fever and ready for warmer weather.
Kira is 4 months now and still not sleeping great but with that sweet little smile of hers it doesn't matter. She is rolling over now, squealing, and loves watching her sisters play. Brooke and Sydney are in the helping stage I think the jar of earning tickets for a pizza party helps so they are always helping and then asking if that was nice and if they earned a ticket for their good deed. It's adorable. I am on a quest of trying to shed off my baby weight and it gets harder and harder with every kid and exercise is almost impossible unless Mike is home so 2x a week. Hopefully my goal will be in reach.
