Fireworks, Water, and Fun!

The girls had a very nice 4th of July. We just went to my sister in laws and hung out and played in the water and bbq'd and shot off fireworks. Sydney was scared at first but got comfortable toward the end. Brooke loved everything from the get go. My girls are getting to big it makes me sad. I love the 4th its probably one of my favorite holidays. I love this country we have the privlage of living in and am so thankful for the troops who are providing that freedom for you and me. The 4th really makes me think of how thankful for being born in America and having all the privilages I do. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

A day at the lake

On Friday we went up to Rockport and spent the day in the sun and jet skiing. Mike and I just love being on the water and how Friday went so do our girls. The water was a little cold 63 degrees but that didn't stop us or even the girls from getting wet. Sydney wanted on the jet skis so bad that mike had to let her sit on one and she was so happy.

Trip to cascade springs

Saturday we went up to cascade springs in American Fork Canyon. It is so beautiful there. I suggest it to anyone who is looking for somewhere to go. Its also cooler up there so that is a plus in itself. The drive is so pretty up there and plenty of turns so becareful if you have a kid like Brooke who gets car sick alot. We had to stop along the way so she could get some fresh air. And when we got there I pulled out my camera to take some beautiful pics but my battery was dead so these pics are off the web. I just love Utah for the many places you can go to see natural beauty and enjoy the outdoors. We are trying to take advantage this summer of getting out of the house and doing things around here. Hope everyone else is enjoying their summer also.

Art City Days

Last week was Art City Days was in Springville last week so we took the girls. They had so much fun. Ferris Wheels and Carosals what more can make you feel like a kid again. As you can tell by the ferris wheel picture at first Brooke wasn't sure about riding it after the whole day talking about riding it with daddy but she warmed up and had fun. I love the innocence of children.

Don't You just love the Mountains

On Saturday while Mike was home we went out to Aspen Grove which is right around Sundance. It is a 20 minute drive from where we live. So close and so beautiful. We just walked along the trail and the girls had so much fun. I love how beautiful the weather is right now and how green and pretty things are. Before long it will be too hot to go outside so until then we will enjoy it.
