A Good Week

This has been such a good start to a great week to come. We have been carless for about 3 weeks. We sold our Subaru and couldn't find anything after we sold it. I was getting nervous and plain out mean because I didn't have a car but as Mike continued to tell me was to be patient and it would pay off and low and behold we got a Honda Pilot yesterday. Its used but in good shape and now I have a car and one with enough space that the girls aren't fighting because one is touching the other. Also I have been trying to lose my baby weight from Sydney and shes 18 months. I still haven't lost it all but all my hard work has been paying off finally. I have been running every night and my weight has just stayed the same until this week and lost 4 pounds. I was so happy. And next week we are going to Alabama. Mike and I are from there and love that fact. I love the south. I love the culture and people. And the FOOD!!! I am so excited to see my family and go eat some seafood and McGuires steak. YUMMY. All that weight I just lost might come back after this trip. :)
That is about all going on in our lives. I am so thankful for my husband who is working so hard to try and give us the nice things in life. It has been a long journey from school to flight instructing to a job with Mesaba flying people to and from all the small towns in MN and ND and IA. I know flying a small regional plane isn't his dream job but its on its way and a small due for bigger and better things. I don't tell him enough that I appreciate him but I do.
.
I am blessed to have a great family and friends.

Have fun on your trip! Sounds like you all deserve a vacation. I bet you're not missing the North Dakota winters...but we miss you!

Kristie! I saw your blog on Valarie's blog! How BIG (and absolutely adorable) your girls are! I think you were just expecting your youngest last time I saw you... before you escaped from ND! Good to see you, and that you all are well!
