I think about as the year comes to an end about the next and wonders what's in store for the year to come and of course think about my regrets and should of's from the year before and as I sat thinking about 2009 and what I want out of it or what I would like to do different this year My #1 resolution for 2009 is to spend more quality time and be more of a patient mom to them. I love them so much but I know I let everyday stresses get in my way of a good attitude and sometimes I sit on the computer too long, or get rapped up in cleaning or cooking instead of playing on the floor building blocks, playing dress up or just paying attention to them. My #2 resolution is to be thankful more for the things I have and not worry so much at what I don't have or what someone else has that I don't. This is something I struggle with and need to work on. I am a blessed person and have two healthy girls and a very kind and funny husband who loves me inspite of all my weeknesses and is working hard to put food on our table. I have wonderful friends and a great family (in laws and all) and the gospel. I have nothing to complain about when I look at these perspectives. Why am I writing a novel on my blog? I just wanted to write down my goals so I have them documented and wanted to wish all of you a Happy New Year. May 2009 bring all of you good health, happiness, and whatever you heart desires.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
I just have to post on how excited I am for Christmas this year. I just love Christmastime. I always have but now that I have kids and even more that this year they both are excited and comprehend alittle more about it this year makes it even better. We have been watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music in the car (gotta love xmas stations) and the Brooke has already started talking about what santa is bringing her.(so cute) Last night we drove around to look at lights and both the girls were looking out their windows saying mommy look at this or look at that it made me giddy with excitement about how happy they are and how I love the Christmas spirit and how everyone is just a little more kinder and happier this time of year. So I hope everyone can enjoy the excitement leading up to Christmas day.

Happy Birthday Michael
Today is Michael's 33rd birthday and he is off flying but coming home late tonight just in time for turkey day which he hates thanksgiving food so Friday we will celebrate his birthday with whatever food he wants. I just wanted to post how much me and the girls love him and are so proud of him and hopes he has a wonderful day and can't wait to see you soon. Since I do this on everyone's birthday I just wanted to say a few special traits about him.
- Has the most georgeous blue eyes
- Has a great sense of humor (he can make anyone laugh)
-Is the best father I know (he is so good with the girls)
-Is a great pilot (he loves his job and it shows)
-Is my best friend.
