I love my family!!!!

Well we got back from Alabama on Monday night. It was so nice to get away for a while and be in nice warm weather. I love where I'm from and didn't really realize that until I moved away I think growing up that I couldn't wait to get out of the south and now that I am I really miss the people and culture. Don't get me wrong there are things I don't like about it but I am glad of where I came from. It was so nice to see Mike. Before our trip we had only seen Mike about 4 days out of the month. I love my husband he is the same goofball he was when we met back 12 years ago. Can you belive it I have known him that long. We have almost been married 7. Time flies. He is such a good father to my girls. Brooke is such a daddy's girl and Mike just eats it up. Sydney now is starting to be. For a while she was all mine but times are a changing. SO Sad..
Anyway he keeps me laughing and hope that always is the case. He is the only one I know that knows how to make me laugh when I think I could kill him. I love that quality about him.

It was so nice to be back home and the girls got to see their cousins and grandpa and aunts and uncles so its nice for them to be around that side of the family. We got to eat lots of seafood and food in general. My dad is very fond of eating out so by the time you get back from a visit you are ready for cereal for dinner.

I was reading a friends post earlier and it got me to thinking ( i know scary) that how blessed our we as women to have the responsibility of creating life. That just blows my mind sometimes to think that I have created these two souls and am responsible for them. What was Heavenly Father thinking I don't know what I'm doing. Then I think how scary of a job and how rewarding of a job at the same time. I am a firm believer that Moms and Dads have totally different roles as parents. I know I wouldn't want Mike's responsibility of providing but how rewarding it is to have a sick kid want no one but their mommy. With Sydney being sick she just wants her mommy and only her mommy to make it better. I love that feeling.

Well sorry for the novel. Hope all is well with everyone. Someone comment and tell me how to get music on my blog. I don't know how or what im doing.

To add music to your blog you can click on the bottom of my playlist, where it says "create a playlist", and it will link you to the website that sets it up. It's walks you through it all! Good Luck:)

Hello from a fellow Southerner. I stumbled on your blog and enjoyed reading about your family. I live in Tennessee and have three children, but only one is still at home.
:0( That's the hard part of being a mommy. I've also been fortunate to stay at home and raise the children while my husband works to support the family. Enjoy those little ones; they really do grow up too quickly!
